Tune through these bands where most Short Wave broadcasters transmit, although you will find some rouge broadcasters operating outside of these frequency bands.

The lower frequency bands work best at night and winter.  The higher frequency bands work best during daytime and summer. Mid-range bands (41, 31, 25, 22 meters) may be good both night and day, and may vary seasonally per propagation.
